TORA TEC Community Race

Welcome to the 2013 TORA Endurance Championship - the ultimate test of team work on Forza Motorsport 4.

The third event of the year is the TORA Community Event happily named German Evolution which is to be held at Road America  which takes place on the weekend of the 3rd - 4th August

The race will start at 2pm BST on Saturday the 3rd  and end at 12am Sunday 4th (10 hours)

Teams can consist of 2-4 drivers per team

Car Choice
There is a choice of 2 classes to run which runs in-line with the TEC Championship

Class 1 : #15 BMW VMR V12 - Front tyre 340 - Rear tyre 370 = PI 974

Class 2 : #6 BMW M3 GTR - Race Brakes - Race driveline - Front tyre 300 - Rear tyre 340 = PI 752

Alright guys, lets get the word out ASAP. and start getting some teams together.

im good for the prototype. What team I don't care. Either XP Racing o Team Pennzoil. I suggest we get the prototype guys in those cars and the GT guys in those cars.

Me n chad figured XP Racing and Team Ulitmat will be the prototype teams and the other two GT teams.

im thinking lmp but not quite sure. btw TUNED CARS IN CLUB GARAGE ARE VERY GENERIC. PLEASE FEEDBACK ON THEM ASAP

I will have a quick session with the cars tonight,,half thinking of going LMP now for this one. Truth be told Rd America is not a good track for me for some reason so I will session the cars,,see what am not slow assed in and post back up

But,,am also happy to slot in where needed as well.

available for a drive. cant decide on GT or P1. what seats are available?

I told Rob and Chad this, but I can't race this anymore. I havew to work thru 90% of the race and unless you want a half stint recorded by me, there is no point

Travis, we have quite a few available. The entry I already submitted is not 100% correct and is just a place holder.

Let us know where you wanna be and we will make that happen.

I think I would like to run the prototypes this time. Either team is fine unless someone has a preference for me running with them.

Currently I'm a bit confused on these races. I was under the impression there were 4 endurance races each year...LeMans, Silverstone, Sebring and Nordschleife. I noticed someone mentioned Road America. Could someone briefly explain what exactly this is?

it's the 3rd race in the TEC, they added in a 5th race but wanted it to be a community ran event. The community chooses what we want(tho kinda didn't happen). the race will still factor in the standings. Since Sebring and Le Mans typically have the same cars, and silverstone and the Ring share a car list, TORA staff wanted to have a race that was different, and unique compared to the others.
So its a one-make class/race to eliminate testing time, so all we have to do is tune the cars.

As it sits, would you be cool with myself and louis?

bueno. i'll start driving some of the cars in the garage tonight and post up here

forgot to mention to go ahead and be figuring our stints, and when you will qualify. the race came up quicker than i realized lol

sportsman said he can race in either car and koenigsegg said he would do it to just waiting on car choice
